State of Colorado Incentives

Xcel Utility

In response to a mandate set forth by Colorado voters in 2004 with the passage of Amendment 37, Xcel Energy is required to incorporate 20% renewable energy resources into its energy portfolio by 2020. To achieve this goal, Xcel Energy created the Solar Rewards Program. Officially launched in spring of 2006, this program provides a significant cash incentive to Xcel rate payers in Colorado. The Xcel service area covers most of the Denver Metro Area and parts of the Colorado Front Range. 

Outside the Xcel Territory

United Power

Simple Solar is pleased to announce that United Power will be participating in a solar rebate program! United Power's program will compliment the anticipated Governer's Energy Office (GEO) statewide solar rebate program. Fort Collins Utilities

Fort Collins Utilities is accepting solar rebate applications from January 27, 2010 through February 26, 2010.
